Programs & Services The civil courts hear complex litigation cases assigned from throughout the county. Original case filings are not accepted at this location. The family law courts hear only Los Angeles County Child Support Services Department family law child support cases and Uniform Interstate Family Support Act (UIFSA) cases. Family law cases in which the Child Support Services Department is not involved are not handled at Central Civil West. Fee Waivers Applications for Fee Waivers are processed daily from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with application forms available in Room 314. Family Law Facilitator's Office The Family Law Facilitator’s Office assists parties with health insurance and child and spousal support issues. At this location, they deal only with Child Support Services Department family law cases. They do not give legal advice nor represent a party in a particular action.
