The courthouse is open from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, except court holidays.
Court appearances are on Fridays only.
The Catalina Courthouse handles Traffic, Civil, Small Claims and Criminal matters.

A boat or helicopter must be taken to reach the Catalina Courthouse.
You must make boat or helicopter reservations in advance. Call the Avalon
(Catalina) Chamber of Commerce at (310) 510-1520 for information regarding
available boat or helicopter companies.
Via the San Pedro Terminal (for boat or helicopter)
Take 110 Harbor Freeway South
Exit on Harbor Blvd.
Proceed straight to the terminal
Via the Long Beach Terminal (for boat or helicopter)
Take the 710 Freeway south
Follow signs to the Queen Mary
Enter the Queen Mary parking lot
Follow directions to boat or helicopter landing
Arriving by boat: From the Avalon landing
Walk up to Crescent Street
Turn Right on Crescent
Proceed to Sumner Avenue
Turn left on Sumner Avenue
Proceed 2 blocks to the Court
Arriving by helicopter: From the helicopter landing, take a taxi to the Court.
The helicopter pilot will ask if you want a taxi and notify their Catalina office
Take the taxi to the Court
There is no designated parking for the courthouse. There is free parking on both sides of Sumner Avenue.

Cases heard Fridays 8:30 a.m.
The petitioner (Catalina residents only) must submit for filing their TRO
packet prior to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. A case
number and hearing date will be assigned at the time of filing. |
Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR)
There is no ADR office at this courthouse. Nearby ADR offices are located at
the San Pedro Courthouse, Room 209 and the Long Beach Courthouse, Room 316.
