Request Extension

You can request an extension online if you are eligible. Read the User Agreement for Online Services and select “Agree” if you wish to continue. You will then need the citation^[G] number on your ticket^[G]. You will:

Select the court where your ticket is assigned
Select the Law Enforcement Agency^[G] that issued your ticket
Enter the citation number from your ticket
Enter your birth date

Your ticket information and eligible online options will appear. You can select the type of extension you want only if the option is shown.

Appearance Date Extension	Appear in court	60 days
Fine Payment Extension	Pay a fine	90 days
Traffic School Extension	Complete traffic school	30 days

Request an appearance date extension if you are eligible using Online Services Request Appearance Date Extension.

Request a fine payment extension if you are eligible using Online Services Request Fine Payment Extension.

Request a traffic school extension if you are eligible using Online Services Request Traffic School Extension.

You can use Search by Driver’s License if you do not have your citation number. You can select your ticket from the list and proceed by selecting the type of extension you want if the option is shown.

Print your extension confirmation when you have completed your request.

You should retain the extension confirmation notice for your records. It is your proof that you requested an extension and it was granted.
