Attorneys with expertise relevant to the cases set on calendar volunteer their time as Settlement Officers.
These volunteer Settlement Officers serve for a half day and meet with all the parties at the same time to discuss the case and its potential for settlement.
The parties and their lawyers can use available vacant rooms throughout the courthouse to discuss their case while the Court conducts other hearings.
