Family Court Services Child Custody Mediation Internship

DESCRIPTION
This internship is designed to provide pre and post master level
Masters in Social Work (MSW), Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) and Psychology interns with
clinical hours working with children and families. The internship provides supervision hours
toward licensure. Interns who have successfully completed the one year internship program
will also receive two years post master experience credit when applying for the position of
Family Court Services Specialist with the Court.
HOURLY REQUIREMENTS
Interns work a minimum of 16 hours per week mediating custody and visitation
disputes, which often involve domestic violence, crisis intervention, parent education and assessing
for child abuse.
