EFFECTIVE MARCH 1, 2014:
Effective March 1, 2014, the North District will resume handling unlimited jurisdiction personal injury (PI) cases at the Michael D. Antonovich Antelope Valley Courthouse.

EFFECTIVE JUNE 14, 2013:
The Los Angeles Superior Court will no longer provide court reporters for general jurisdiction civil matters, except in the writs departments – 82, 85 and 86 - located in the Stanley Mosk Courthouse. The writs departments will continue to use the established matrix for court reporter assignments.

EFFECTIVE JUNE 10, 2013:
The Los Angeles Superior Court is piloting a new real-time online Court Reservation System (CRS) in the three personal injury courtrooms at the Stanley Mosk Courthouse.

EFFECTIVE APRIL 15, 2013:
All general jurisdiction civil non-personal injury cases in the South District must be filed only in the Long Beach Courthouse. For additional information, see Court Consolidation Plan.

EFFECTIVE APRIL 8, 2013:
All general jurisdiction civil non-personal injury cases for the Northeast District must be filed in the North Central District. For additional information, see Court Consolidation Plan.

EFFECTIVE MARCH 18, 2013:

All general jurisdiction personal injury cases must be filed in the Stanley Mosk Courthouse. For additional information, including the definition of personal injury cases, see Court Consolidation Plan .

All limited jurisdiction civil collections cases – as defined by California Rule of Court 3.740 – must be filed in one of two locations: Chatsworth Courthouse or Norwalk Courthouse. For additional information, including where to file your case, see Court Consolidation Plan .

All limited jurisdiction civil non-collections cases – as defined by California Rule of Court 3.740 – must be filed in the Stanley Mosk Courthouse. For additional information, see Court Consolidation Plan .

All limited jurisdiction unlawful detainer cases must be filed in a regional ‘hub’ courthouse: downtown Los Angeles Stanley Mosk Courthouse, Pasadena Courthouse, Governor George Deukmejian Courthouse, Santa Monica Courthouse, and Antelope Valley Michael D.
