L.A. Superior Court Offers Temporary Judges MCLE Bench Conduct and Demeanor Training

 

The Los Angeles Superior Court is offering two training sessions for temporary judges pursuant to CRC rule 2.812, et seq.  The Court is the program sponsor and is approved as a provider of Minimum Continuing Legal Education credit by the State Bar of California (Provider Number 485).  Participants will receive 3 hours of elimination of bias credit.   

 

PROGRAM:        Bench Conduct and Demeanor

DATES:              Thursday, October 16, or Friday, October 17, 2008

FEE:                    $50

PLACE:              Stanley Mosk Court, 111 N. Hill Street, Dept. 1 Room 534, Los Angeles CA 90012

TIME:                  11:30 a.m.  Registration begins.

12:45 to 4:45 p.m.  Orientation and Training.

PARKING:          Information will be provided with enrollment confirmation

 

Space is limited and MCLE credit is provided. Prepaid reservations are required and payment must be received by Wednesday, October 8, 2008.  Prepaid reservations are nonrefundable and nontransferable.
