Court Closures Are Different from
Furloughs: No Drop Boxes, No Filings
All facilities of the Los
Angeles Superior Court will be closed tomorrow, Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2009, in
accordance with recently passed state legislation.
There will be no court staff working
tomorrow, and no filings will be accepted at any courthouse, which is not a
court day. Drop
boxes will NOT be available.
Documents may be filed when the court reopens for business as usual on Thursday,
Sept. 17, 2009.
